Activities

"Fortunately, psychoanalysis is not the only way to resolve inner conflicts.
Life itself remains a very effective therapist."
— Karen Horney

In addition to regular meetings to discuss things, therapy can involve activities that you pursue outside of session. It’s very much up to you which of these activities fit well into your life.

Reading articles or books related to your life issues, writing in a journal, talking with an important person in your life in a way that furthers your therapeutic goals, spending time at spiritual practice, implementing a change in your daily life related to your therapeutic goals, or simple physical exercise --- these are some examples of ways to enhance your counseling.
